Country View Assisted Living was a great location. I met a medical technician, and she went out of her way to show me the facility, but it was very limited. We walked by an entertainment center, like a movie theater. There were lots of restaurants, salons, and different places nearby. The facility has improved very much since I last visited in 2014. The staff is wonderful and friendly and very helpful as well. However, the overall building looks like it’s a previous school and it isn’t set up like a retirement home. I would recommend this facility to other families. This community can provide a 1 person assisted transfer for residents who need help transferring, for example, from a bed into a wheelchair. This community offers diabetes care and can offer insulin injections, including sliding scale therapy.

This facility really helped my Mother get in here and even though they couldn’t get her a room with a window, they are willing to let her move to one when it’s available. For the activities, they offer things like bingo, field trips, and games. My mom likes the food and I think it looks good and nutritious.
